ATTORNEY & COUNSELOR AT LAW

I originally hail from Paducah, Kentucky, although my family has roots in Cincinnati, Ohio (so I cheer for the Bengals, as hard as that can be at times). I moved here without knowing a soul to attend the College of Charleston. Like many others, I fell in love with this place that I now call home, and never looked back.

In my former life, I was an upright bass player, an athlete, a tour guide, an assistant youth programs coordinator, and spoke fluent French. During and after law school, I worked for a large transactional firm in Charlotte, a civil litigation firm in Charleston, the Attorney General's Office, and the 9th Circuit Solicitor's Office. I have gone on to establish a successful practice, grow a family, and root myself in the local community as a volunteer.

My broad legal perspective has been shaped and influenced by the experiences I’ve had both personally and professionally. I've learned that in either realm, communication and personal attention are the keys to building and maintaining solid relationships and to achieving successful outcomes in every endeavor.
